please have a look at the mapping definition of "user". At the end you will find a mapping of property "vrtUserInProfile". This will handle the  memberships of users in profiles during the update of the user.

But why is userinrole (Provision-Processes on SAPUserInSAPRole) handled differently than userinprofile (virtual prop at user)?

Hi Alexander,

the memberships of user in  profile and groups are "simple" (bring user name and profile name together). A membership of user in role has properties: VALIDFROM and VALIDTO. So this Membership has to be handled as "object" itself.
