Removal of access request tasks from DBQ

Hello community!


We occasionally encounter cases where the approval procedure calculation for access requests freezes at the CD stage. To be more precise, it’s not exactly a freeze—the task simply disappears from DBQ.

Our current workaround is: UPDATE PersonWantsOrg SET DecisionLevel = DecisionLevel --...  

After this action, the task reappears in DBQ and is executed immediately

Note that the CD stage is not resource-intensive and typically completes in a fraction of a second.


Are there any known solutions for this issue?


We’re using version 9.2.

    Hello Markus,

    The issue with the "Get approver for a request" and "IT Shop meet approval automatically" tasks removed from the DBQueue is still occurring.

    We have configured a monitoring task to find stuck approval stages, which works, but we want to identify the root cause of this behavior. Could you advise on the best practices or tools for diagnosing the exact reason for a DBQueue task  removal?

    Additionally, the DialogJournal table contains millions of records. What would be the most effective keyword or filter to search for relevant information about these events?
