Error when opening Synchronization Project

Hello,
I am trying to test some workflows on a Universal Connector Interface synch project: the workflow triggers a process DPR_DPRProjectionStartInfo_Run_Synchronization which goes Frozen with the following error message:
"Error running synchronization.
(...)
There is already an element with the name (IdentSyncRoot)"

When trying to open the synchronization project from the Synchronization Editor tool, I receive the same error:

"Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation
There is already an element with the name (IdentSyncRoot)"

I tried browsing through several Dialog and DPR tables in the Object Browser but I can't seem to find the source of this issue.
What could be the cause of the error?

For additional info, this seems to be an issue isolated to the environment I am working on.

Thank you!

  • Hi all, the issue was solved by identifying a Variable which was accidentally generated twice with the same name. Unfortunately I do not have any further information as to which was the technical name of the table where these Variables were found, or what column of such table was equal to "IdentSyncRoot", but it was a situation very specific to our customized system. Thank you all for reading!
