Product Dependencies

We are trying to set up product dependencies for several SAP roles. I have been able to add a product dependency to a service item and the request process works for adding both the parent and child objects. The problem I am running into is if the parent service item is requested to be removed, it is only removing the parent object and not both objects. Any ideas on how to make Dell One send removal requests for both items?
