update the Employee_Type is base on Is-External type

Hi All,

I created one custom column (EmployeeType) in person table, I want to a IsExternal type is false then update the EmployeeType is Employee or IsExternal is ture then Update the EmployeeType is Constrator .

Can you please suggest? How to update these column...

You can put a template on your custom column which updates the values as required.

Go into Designer, schema, Person table, EmployeeType. Edit the Template field and add:

'Set EmployeeType based on value of IsExternal

Elseif $IsExternal$ is null Then Value = "Employee"

Elseif $IsExternal$ is not null Then Value = "Contractor"

End If
