Approved ITShop requests does not result in assignment

Hi,

I am currently going through an issue with system roles assignement. I request some roles from ITShop for one of my users, and these requests have been approved by the manager, but no any role have been assigned to this person.

In the first place, I ensure that the requests have been taken into account by looking for corresponding PersonWantsOrg entries. Everything seems to be fine : PersonOrdered and PersonInserted have been filled, ValidFrom and ValidUntil too, OrderReason and ObjectKeyOrdered too and the OrderState is "Assigned".

Then, I looked for PersonHasESetTotal entries which make the bound between the Person and the system roles (i.e. the assignment), but I could not find any entry related to these requests (i.e. the PersonWantsOrg entries).

Does anybody have a clue about what can prevent these roles from being assigned, even when the requests have been approved succesfully ?

Any help would be really appreciated.

  • We are facing same issue in version 8.0. I tried to assigned same role directly from manager tool but still role not assigned to user but entry get added in Personhasest after manual assignment. Please suggest workaround if any one is facing same issue. 

  • Can you please describe exactly what you have done and what is not working as expected? I am unable to understand what "same role" means in your context and what the difference is between "directly from manager tool" and "manual assignment".

    User raised the access request from IT shop for system roles and request got approved from approver. But system roles are not reflecting in employee(in system role) in manager tool. All approved roles are coming in Active Product requests in manager tool. Request status is Assigned. Also roles assignment not get added in PersonHaseset Table.

    As a workaround tried to add same approved roles from manager tool where we have option Assign system roles. But role assignment not happened to user. This has been created a entry in personhaseset table but XIsIneffect value is False.
