Using Identity Manager to Handle Service Accounts

Just wondering how many other people are using Identity Manager to create Service accounts and to handle access granting via Identity Manager. If you don't use Identity Manager how are you provisioning/deprovisioning service accounts and granting access to them? Thanks

We have a similar use case where we need to create an AD service account via IT SHOP as requestable item. Any ideas?
