Deploy language pack on Q1IM 6.1.1

Hi Stephane,

You should have localization .csv file.

1. Go to Designer - Base data - Languages.

2. On the right pane click "Edit translation in table 'Languages'".

3. Click "Import translations of QIM Translation tool" icon on the tool bar:

4. Click "Commit to the database". (this process can take a while)

One advice for others : import the language pack before any customisation.

If you don't, then the importer will report multiple Change label conflicts.

what exactly did you customize?

I tried it on an update migration ( from 5.1 ) database with schema extensions, more web functionality, custom scripts...

without any errors...

But I don't use change labels...

We are two implementers : one on the web designer and one on the designer and we are both using change labels

About the customisations on the Web designer I modified and created some module and some components.

At the end I imported the file without any change label

=> With a change label it was complaining about label conflict for each term (the file contains 17k terms )

Hi again,

Now the language pack is functioning well on the Web application but I would like to enable this for the Manager application.

I openned the Designer and enable the Configuration Parameter : Common > Multilanguage

I added the language Base Data > Languages

But when I log into the to Manager and go to setting I can't see my third language

Could you help me to know what did I missed ?

In 6.1.1 only the web can be translated.
