modifying IP address of SPP and SPS (virtual machines)

The customer needs to move the virtual appliances (SPP and SPS) from a Data Center to another. Which is the impact about changing the IP address? Are there any best practices to do it?

Hi Dario,

Please make sure that SPP and SPS are running the latest versions to benefit from recent fixes and improvements within the products as a first step.

- If possible to perform this relocation with a test environment initially to see if this works for your customer's use case.

- We also recommend engaging Professional Services team when making configuration related changes.

Here are the details on updating the IP addresses:

1. SPP modify IP of X0:
support.oneidentity.com/.../modifying-the-ip-address-on-x0-interface-in-a-cluster

2. SPS Network settings:
support.oneidentity.com/.../17

3. Re-linking SPS to SPP:
support.oneidentity.com/.../111

Note: If the primary IP address of your SPS deployment or SPP deployment changes, you must repeat this procedure to relink the clusters. To repeat the procedure to relink the clusters, navigate to Basic Settings > Cluster management and click Relink SPP cluster.
