Using XCP-NG as virtualization platform for SPP

Hi.

With all the issues related to Broadcom swollowing up VMware I'm wondering if any thought has been given to runnning SPP under XCP-NG as a substitute ? I have done a quick test myself by importing the OVA with not so great results. The import into XCP-NG is fine, the VM boots but never gets to the Kiosk interface. Anyone with better success ?

Not sure about XCP-NG but support for KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) Hypervisor will be available in an upcoming release of SPP

Hi,

KVM-support will be included in the upcoming release of SPP version 8.0 LTS which scheduled to be available very soon subject to PM approval (I would check back the support portal in a couple of weeks )
