limitation on video recording playback

is it possible to prevent a user accessing SPS from seeing the PLAY button on session videos?
Is there a profile (under User and Access Control --> Appliance Access) which allows this possibility, and so if this permission is not given, the user who logs in, even if an administrator, does not see the session videos?

(considering the case where an administrator user of sps logs in and can click on PLAY and see the session then see everything a user types so even passwords that are typed in on each environment, e.g. internet site, servers, various applications etc etc)

Thank you so much!

  • Encrypting upstream traffic will hide the user input into the session from displaying in the replay unless the user has the decryption key tp show it.

Encrypting the entire audit trail, the user will need the decryption key to replay the audit trail at all.

Note: If you enable encryption for audit trails, you also need to add the encryption keys in the Indexer Service configuration to allow the Indexer service to perform indexing for those encrypted audit trails.
