VMWare tools on SPP

Are there the VMWare tools on the .ova file of the virtual appliance? Is it possible to install after the initial setup? Is it possible to access on kiosk in the initial setup to check some logs about the initial setup? thank you

Hi Dario,

What version of SPP are you deploying?

Its not possible to install any software on SPP as this is a hardened appliance and no access to the OS.

Logs are exported via the support bundle.

ok clear, we are deploying the last release 8.0 LTS

it seems that they don't have any possibility to use the vmware tools but i know that are included in the ova file

Vmware tools were included in older deployment versions but are now removed from SPP version 8.0 LTS fyi
