SPP LTS 8.0 - Authentication Provider Active Directory - Error with User Groups

I upgraded my SPP appliances to LTS 8.0 recently.

When I want to add or edit User Groups (Directory User Group) I get an error message:

Cannot sync directory user group 'GROUP' (18). Invalid primary authentication provider with ID 1. Please ensure that the specified provider ID exists and that it supports primary authentication by checking the 'AllowPrimaryAuthFlag' of the specified provider's type.

I can't select the Active Directory under Authentication as Authentication Provider.
With the existing groups it still displays the configured Active Directory.

The groups still work and sync and the Active Directory setup under Identity and Authentication didn't change and still work.

It seems like something changed in the LTS 8.0 version.
It worked before with 7.5.

Is this a known issue or is there something I can check and set?

Thank you.

  • That would be a great option.
When I had the root domain unchecked this would through an error.

Now it works to set as default.
But the login won't work because apparently it uses the root domain now.

Is there any way to set the child domain as the "default" for everything in the SPP?
The root domain shouldn't be considered for anything by the SPP.

    Thanks.
