Keyboard Settings during Web Session

Hi,

When running an RDP (Start RDP Session or Download RDP file) session from SPP (via SPS) to a server, the keyboard layout is correct.

When running a Web Session to the same server, it looks like the keyboard is defaulting to US (@ symbol  is defaulting to the " symbol)

Both the server and the client machine have the correct localization (region\keyboard), Nothing is US based.

Is SRA forcing a US Keyboard layout for all web sessions? Or what is the issue?

Thanks

  • I was not able to reproduce the issue in my lab with latest version of SPP and SPS.

I tested by installing the English (United Kingdom) language in a Windows 10 client machine.

Connected via SRA using (Launch Web Session) button in (SPP + SPS) running 8.0.1 LTS then tested against (SPP + SPS) 8.1 as well

When using the client side language as English (United Kingdom) for the keyboard then typed Shift + 2 it is showing the double quote symbol  " inside the target server > notepad

then switched the client side language as English (United States)  for the keyboard then typed Shift + 2 and it is showing the at symbol @ inside the same target server > notepad

This session used the default safeguard_rdp connection policy in SPS.
