Keyboard Settings during Web Session

Hi,

When running an RDP (Start RDP Session or Download RDP file) session from SPP (via SPS) to a server, the keyboard layout is correct.

When running a Web Session to the same server, it looks like the keyboard is defaulting to US (@ symbol  is defaulting to the " symbol)

Both the server and the client machine have the correct localization (region\keyboard), Nothing is US based.

Is SRA forcing a US Keyboard layout for all web sessions? Or what is the issue?

Thanks

  • Hi David,

The issue seems to happen when both client and target are using the same keyboard language \ layout (Other than US Keyboard layouts)

I wasn't seeing the issue before as I tested with English (United Kingdom) on the client side but my target was still set with English (US) in this case the Keyboard layout worked as expected when changing it on the client side.

This issue is being investigated in another case which is displaying a similar issue when using French (FRA) on client and also French (FRA) on target and keyboard is defaulting to QWERTY instead of AZERTY layout.

I can update this thread when more information becomes available.

    Thanks!
