I was just wondering if it is a limitation like I feel or if it is doable but I am not finding out who.
Therefore, following question:
ARS permits to create a policy controlling the selection of mailbox stores where Exchange mailboxes are permitted to be created.
We have that in place and it is working fine. However, in our environment we have dedicated DBs for archive mailboxes. Issue we now experience is that when enabling archive for a mailbox it only permits selection of databases selected in the policy (in which we didnt include the archive databases).
Long story short: Is there a way to either make additional DBs selectable (people with permission to create archive are capable enough to select the correct one) or even create a particular policy for archive mailboxes only?
