Active Roles Sync Service Oracle Connector

Is there any update on if or when an Oracle connector will be a standard connector option in AR Sync Service? We are currently using QC for Base systems and Oracle is the last connector we have that is not included with Sync Service. The last forum post about this topic I could find is over a year old.

Enhancement Request number 649535 is from 2016.

  • The "secret sauce" here is that I believe you will need to install and configure the Oracle client on the Sync Service host.  You will then need to derive the Connect String that you will configure into the OLE Compliant DB connector.  If you've worked with the Oracle client before, it shouldn't be overly painful.  If you haven't, you might want to find yourself a consultant to help out as there are some configuration dependencies to work out on the sync service host.
