Dual Accounts - Approvals

Hi Guys. 

Looking for some advice or what others are doing here. 

We have a standard AD account that is only used to logon to our laptops etc. We then have a separate account that is used for admin tasks , logging on to Active Roles web , MMC etc. 

Now standard accounts have email address , admin accounts do not. 

What I am trying to get my head around. Lets say we have a workflow that does ABC and part of the process is that it sends an email to who ever is an approver. Now it sends the email to the users standard account but that account has no rights in ARS only their admin account. 

Is there away that you can be setup to only be an approver and nothing more?
