Approval workflow email sending is not working?

I have configured properly the Defailt mail settings, added this link https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx and mailbox credentials. Is there any changes to configure or something new happening?

Did you run the test using the button provided to see if it could actually send?

If yes, then you need to configure the workflow Approval step with the recipients for the notification and a notification message.

No, I have run the button and didn't send it. As I sow here I need to move from Basic Auth to Modern becuase Microsoft is not supporting anymore, and I should upgrade my AR what is the best way ?

Version 7.6.2 and the new 8.x "LTS" version will both allow you to configure (certificate based) Modern Auth for this function of the Admin Service.
