How to remove several users from several manual business roles? v6.1

Hello,
I recently inherited part of the administration of Quest in my company and until I receive the training now we are facing this:

We need to remove around 60 users from several manual business roles (users have different roles), HR performs a modification in SAP HR and then add the users back.
I managed to get the list of each user with its manual roles to be removed. These roles cannot be removed from the Manager as they were provisioned using ITShop.

My question is if there is a way to do this with an script, object browser... because currently the option that they have is to remove the roles manually from the IT Shop (this means, changing the owner for each one, remove the user then add it again the next day...) this can take hours and hours
I know that there is something like to set the value of UID_PWOOrigin for those users to null or something similar so it can be removed in the Manager, but I do not know how nor the consequences of that. I am still learning how the tables work and their relationship...
Does anyone know?

Thank you in advance

  • Hello Paul,
Sorry for the delay. At the end what I did was to set the original IT shop request as aborted and set as null the UID_PWOOrigin linked to that request. With this the assignments specified in the script were all removed from the user at once.
    Thank you.
