Employee with two ADSAccount records with different canonical names?

Why does an employee have two ADSAccount records with different canonical names.  The ADSAccount that is linked appears to be the wrong account but the Employee and Account Definition on this record cannot be changed?

    What do you mean by "cannot be changed"? Could you potentially add some screenshots here to get a better understanding of whats going on?
    Two different ADSAccount are supposed to have different canonical names.

  • Both ADSAccounts have the same Login name but with different Canonical names.  The account was most likely moved in the source AD system now the Account with the new Canonical name does not have Account Definition assigned since it's already assigned to the other duplicate account which cannot be changed.

    Could you please check the consistency state of the account currently matched to the person record? Especially if it's marked as outstanding. If so, please clean up outstanding objects and the connect the user account to the person record manually.
