Is there a way to completely turn off the nightly maintenance jobs (shrinking, indexing jobs etc.) in v6.1.4?

A customer upgrading 6.1.4 to 7.1.2, and asked the question "Is there a way to completely turn off the nightly maintenance job in v6.1.4?"

    Thank you for the suggestions!

    The reason to stop daily maintenance job is it could last up to 7 hours and nobody can logon to the web portal during that period of time. The 7.1.2 upgrading is on the way so intend to have v6.1.4 WP more robust without downtime. Thank you again!
