[V8] cannot login with a helpdesk role

Question

Hi all,

i'm trying to login to the web portal with a user who has helpdek role but i got the error below :

An exception has occurred while executing the form method F0_ctl00_Main_Main_ControlRef1_Button1_Method.

One or more errors occurred.

Employees: Viewing permission denied for value "Language culture".

knwoing that i didn't changed the predefined permissions for this role.

I do not mean the name you are using to log into the system. I am talking about the type of authentication (authentication module) that is configured. 
 Please take a look at https://support.oneidentity.com/technical-documents/identity-manager/8.0/installation-guide/28#TOPIC-864268 for an explanation of these modules. 
 I assume you are using a person based (non-role based) login to your web portal where the permissions are configured by the selected system user. You can check that on a normal user for comparison, where you are claiming it is working. 
 The dialog user viHelpdesk is not meant to work with the standard web portal but within the manager.

So this is a different error now and not your original one. 
 Starting with version 8.0 One Identity Manager supports password policies and comes with a pre-defined password policy that prevents you from using empty passwords. I assume that is why you are seeing the error.
