SAP Connector: set the "valid from" date

If your role assignment was inherited, you may have to activate some configuration parameters, especially this one TargetSystem\SAPR3\ValidDateHandling\
ReuseInheritedDate\UseTodayForInheritedValidFrom.

We have a peculiar issue..although the above mentioned configuration parameters are set

When I am keeping the valid from blank and Valid until to a limited period in shopping cart request, Post assignment in SAPUserinSAPRole, the valid from date is set to 01-01-1900 instead of assignment date.

Could you please suggest what's wrong in this ??

If you need to have the valid-from date set to the current date, then why not calculating it in the request by the use of a template or OnsSving-script?
