Error in creating path while requesting for new file system share

When a request for "New file system share" is raised by user, user is not able to create path due to access denied error. I have given Full Control to all users and admin to create a new path.

The error message:

Errors occurred Creating path \\domain.com\C$\CustomShareRoot\N1
[System.UnauthorizedAccessException] Access to the path '\\domain.com\C$\CustomShareRoot\N1' is denied.ath but still issue persists.

How we can fix this error.

Unfortunately without much information about your environment, logs or how you configure this, I cannot help. We need more than snippets from the logs as there are so many things that can go wrong.

Is \\domain.com\C$\CustomShareRoot itself available? Can you access this from the web server? It is a permissions issue, you just need to find out where they need to be applied for this to work.

Based on our documentation, we only support local path

"Note: Only local managed hosts are supported at this time. Do not include the machine name as part of the path."

While configuration, we have not mentioned the machine name in Object Browser it was just C$\CustomRootShare.

But in logs i could see the error message with machine name, may be due to internal settings "Managed Host" name is picked by the executing process.
