VI.Config.Encryptor.exe is not opening, error is 'Identity Manager has stopped working'

I have to use this tool to generate encrypted string for DB connector and it throws up this error when I try to open the file.

NET Framework installed on the server is V4 FULL.

Can someone please help us out.

What is your version?

Is that the complete error?

Is this a complete installation of the front end tools?

Are any other executables running?

Hi,

I've copied the content of the "OIM81\Modules\QBM\dvd\AddOn\ConfigEncryptor"-folder (VI.Config.Encryptor.exe and the language folder) to the "Program Files\One Identity\One Identity Manager"-folder.

This has solved the problem for me!
