SAP HCM - Simulation report doesn't show Inserts for Employee objects

Hi,

I configured a synchronization project using the default HCM Employees project template in read only access. When I run the simulation report I can see that (employee) synchronization step is run with processing steps is 1999 (does this mean that there are 1999 employee objects?).

However in the processed objects section of the report I don't see any Employee with Insert method.

Will this create employees in One Identity, or do I need to edit any parameter in Designer for this to create employees. HR Profile is active with Value "1".

The use case is that we read from SAP HCM and on-board employees and create them as Person/Employee in One Identity.

Any pointers will be appreciated. Thank you.

    1. Regarding the inserts, our setup is new and a fresh install with no employees, and I wanted to create employees synchronizing with SAP HCM.

    2. I tried to view the list of employees using the target system browser as you suggested and I can see all 1999 HREmployee_Active objects there. However if I click on any of the employee object I get an error. (Screenshot below for reference). May be this is the reason it is not able to read the employee objects?

    The BAPI transports were placed before as prerequisites and simulation worked fine.

    Any pointers, what's missing?
