In the Identity Manager 8.0 - IT Shop Administration Guide you say:
Table 5: General Master Data for a Service Item
| Retain service item assignment on relocation | Specifies whether requests belonging to this service item remain intact when a customer or a product relocates. |
Can you please explain what is the actual customer relocation meaning?
Also please advise in the following:
I have a mover use case where user moves between two departments and has to lose all current roles assignments.
Current service items does not have checked the box for : Retain service item assignment on relocation
When I've ran the actual mover use case then a person object still keeps currently assigned service items.
Can you please advise how to get rid of all roles when user moves between departments?
My current approach is to act on Update event and run Abort method but so far I have faced an error message:
"Method Abort(VI.DB.Entities.ISession, VI.DB.Entities.IEntity, System.String, System.String, System.String, System.Threading.CancellationToken) is been deactivated and cannot be called."
which is causing additional work to do.
