How can I insert an image in a forum question?

Did you try to copy & paste the image into your thread? This seems to work in most cases.

Thank you for your reply. It seems that it doesn't work. The web page where I try to insert an image is: https://www.oneidentity.com/community/identity-manager/f/forum/p/addpost. The insert menu allows to insert image/video from Url or community. But I see posts with images, so somehow it must be possible.

Honestly, I do not know what the issue is then. I am able to do so but if it is not working on your end I am stuck.

Strange indeed. I tried all kinds of paste instructions in this reply, but the image does not get inserted. The fact that the Insert menu of the html text editor does not propose a link to upload a local image file seems to indicate it is not really meant to be done.

I was pondering over your first reply, what do you mean paste an image to the thread? Is there an option to upload images you can later use when creating a forum post?

I just do a CTRL-V (Past) directly into the textbox. Then a double click on the image in the textbox to update the sizing.

This is what I tried, as well as shift +ins or mouse right click and select 'paste'. None of these options inserts the image. 

Interesting. I am getting the file upload option when I use the Insert Image menu item.

I see, well this is the option that I don't have. That's probably also the reason why pasting the image via shortcuts does not work either.

Is this option configurable? I thought it was filtered out for some reason by proxy configuration, but I tried on my home workstation without any specific configuration, and also there the option to upload local files is not present.

I assume so, yes. But why, i cannot tell.

I have same issue. Not able to add images to responses. File upload option is missing!
