Identity Manager IT SHOP integrated with REST API

The Application Server REST Interface makes it pretty easy to create a new ITShop order.

As a general advice just use the Object Browser tool first in order to create/update/delete objects and see how and if your operation actually works.
Thumb rule: If you can do it there, you can do it with the REST interface as well.

In your case, a POST request to /entity/PersonWantsOrg will create a new ITShop order. Don't forget to put required your desired data into the body.

I tried and worked with the employee account, is there a way to request a product on the admin account to an employee?

Yeah sure!

Just add

"UID_PersonInserted": "INSERT_UID_PERSON_FROM_ADMIN_ACCOUNT_HERE"

to the body and make sure the specific admin account is authentificated on the App server.

WrapUp:
PersonWantsOrg.UID_PersonOrdered -> Person who actually ordered the product
PersonWantsOrg.UID_PersonInserted -> Person who created the IT-Shop order
