Can the Database Role 'basegroup' be removed after installation?

If the database role 'basegroup' has no members, it should be no problem to remove it as since 8.1 we are using a more granular approach to assign the permissions.

But it could be (haven't tested it though) that the next migration (Service Pack, or release) would re-create the role.

Thank you for your reply. We will delete the role and keep an eye on it to see if it is created again.
