EBS entitlement not assigned via IT SHOP

Hi All,

Greetings!

we have integrated oracle ebs with identity manager 8.1.2 with the default connector.

while assigning the entitlement via manager tool or object browser it is working fine. however, when we are requesting from IT shop it is not working. event is not getting triggered for the particular process. we are using the default process to all ebs operation.

i have tried with the option "Assign by event" from schema browser for the table EBSUserInEBSResp, but that too didn't work.

can anyone help me here how to troubleshoot this?

Is the user marked with the flag "Entitlements can be inherited" (EBSUser.IsGroupAccount)?

Do you see the requested entitlement at the user as assigned in the Manager?

i tried with and without approval policy but with both it didn't work.

Hi Markus, i can see the it shop item assigned to person. but not the entitlement at the user. i will check the other option "Entitlements can be inherited"

Hi Markus, thanks for the suggestion. i checked the box "Entitlements can be inherited" (EBSUser.IsGroupAccount) for the particular user and requested again from ITShop, it worked.

Markus, need your suggestion here, since we are not using the account definition here. Client wants us IDM to only manage the entitlements. is it possible while doing the sync from ebs to idm i mark the flag to true for synchronized user?
