How to create a connection string for deployment?

Hello,

we are building a new development environment for version 8.1.5.
For this it is necessary to distribute the FatClient on several computers. For this I wanted to create the connection string by tutorial described in

But this page / KB article 121520 seems to no longer exist.
Are there new possibilities for this?

Or how does this work again?

Hello Markus,

However, I am logged into the Support Portal and still I get the "Page not found" view.

Mmhh... looks like the article is marked as internal.

How to create a reusable connection string in 711.zip

Hi,

I wrote this doc for V711 but I believe it should still work for V8.x.

(It's the same as the KB article.)
