I noticed that an employee with exitdate (leaving date) in the past became permanent disabled automatically, losing the AD acccount. I don't want that.

I haven't looked but I think you can set Person.DateLastWorked to the future if you do not want to have the person permanently disabled.

Hi Stefano, I don't know if you have already found the solution. You use the account definition for sure. You can set/unset the following setting there:
"Retain account definition if permanently disabled"
If you activate it, the AD-account will not be deleted while the person is permanently disabled. I think, this is the setting you are searching for.
