Hi community
I’m having some trouble understainding how the configuration parameter “QER\ITShop\AutoCloseInactivePerson” really works.
I could find something on the documentation: Identity Manager 8.1 - IT Shop Administration Guide (oneidentity.com), but this is still not enough. I quote:
By default permanently disabled employees remain members in all the customer nodes. This ensures that all pending request and resulting assignments are retained. One Identity Manager can be configured such that employees are automatically removed from all custom nodes once they are permanently disabled. This means that all pending requests are aborted and remaining assignments are removed.
What I cannot understand is:
- Does enabling AutoCloseInactivePerson overrides ALL the dynamic roles defining ALL shops customers? I mean, if I have a dynamic role with a query, let’s say, such as “IsInactive = 1”, does putting AutoCloseInactivePerson = true will cause the expulsion of the inactive persons from the shop (and consequentially the abort of all his pwo?)
- When are exactly calculated / updated the customer of a shop? I ask this because I did the following test. After enabling AutoCloseInactivePerson, I bought a product for a person. The product is published in an It Shop whit a customer group that allows inactive persons to be in. Later, I disabled that person but (after almost 3 hours) the product is already assigned even if the person is disabled permanently. Is this normal?
Thank in advance for your help
