One Identity on Demand - how to delete old DB connection strings

Hello,

doing a version upgrade of OneIdentity, when we login into the various tools we have several connection strings saved, both the old ones now unused and the new ones.
We would like to delete the old now unused DB connection strings in the various tools.

Would you know how to perform this operation? Is there any procedure to follow or any tables where the strings are saved?

Version: 8.2

Thank you,

Martina

  • This is also applicable to on-prem implementations.  Deleting all connection strings from the registry may be necessary to correct an application server connection error when installing web applications which return a fatal error message of "direct database access is not supported".  Reasonable and appropriate cautions apply to any registry edit - this process should only be performed by a qualified Windows administrator.
