Approval workflow runtime error results in incorrect calculated decision

There is a custom approval workflow in our One Identity instance(version 8.1.2) where the request should go to line manager for approval. But sometimes because of run time errors, the request gets auto-approved with the reason head as '#LDS#Automatic system approval: Condition caused runtime error using method CD.'.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? We don't want the request to get auto approved in case of run time errors.

  • Hi Markus, the problem is we could not figure out the exact runtime error that's causing the auto approval to happen. The error is not recorded in the reasonhead in PWODecisionhistory. I checked the DialogJournal, Jobqueue, sys.messages, and SQL server logs as well, but could not find any error related to the 'MakeDecision' method or the stored procedure 'QER_ZITShopMakeDecisionCD'. So, it would be great if you can give pointers on how we can capture the run time error.
