Approval workflow runtime error results in incorrect calculated decision

There is a custom approval workflow in our One Identity instance(version 8.1.2) where the request should go to line manager for approval. But sometimes because of run time errors, the request gets auto-approved with the reason head as '#LDS#Automatic system approval: Condition caused runtime error using method CD.'.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? We don't want the request to get auto approved in case of run time errors.

    We got a similar issue with the method "WC" from Version 8.0 up to 8.2.1. Not always but sometimes this went on runtime error with the error message "#LDS#Automatic system approval: Condition caused runtime error using method WC.|". This caused the parent request being refused despite all dependent child requests have been approved. The timestamp suggested that the method has been calculated way too early before all decisions have been made. I'm gonna create a SR and follow up here in case we got any update or fix for this issue.
