Dear All,
Issue: I'm unable to connect to salesforce using Starling connect trail version (30 days)
Steps to replicate:
1) I have signed in to the salesforce developer version and created an app (Under Platform Tools -> Apps -> Application Manager) in the Salesforce.
2) As per the instruction in One identity guide, I have setup the app information with the app name and API details as follows.
API (Enable OAuth Settings):
Consumer Key and Secret : Manage Consumer Details (Which consists of my Consumer Key and Consumer Secret)
Selected OAuth Scopes : Full access (full)
Callback URL : https://app.getpostman.com/oauth2/callback
3) I go to the URL account.cloud.oneidentity.eu/ (One identity starling account which is a trail version)
I clicked on trail for (Connect - Extends Identity Governance to the Cloud), and tried to configure salesforce in connectors catalog as per the guide with the following details.
General Version: 4.0
Connector Type: Development
Connector Name: Salesforce
Timeout:150
Client ID: As per the consumer ID which is given while I created the app
Client Secret: As per the consumer secret which is given while I created the app
User name: My user ID
Password: My password
Token URL: login.salesforce.com/.../token
Instance: AP6
Grant Type: Password
InstanceDateTimeOffset: Z
After all the settings are selected, I tested the configuration by clicking on Test Connection.
But it gives me an error Connecter test failed.
I don't get any detailed error message. I tried to google in Salesforce and tried all the options, but it doesn't work.
Please let me know, if anyone has encountered this issue and do let me know how to overcome this issue.
Regards.
