Error-Message Processing step 'QBM FinalizeCustomer (wait for post processing customer)' during Migration from 8.1.3 to 8.1.5

We are currently trying to migrate / upgrade Identity Manager from Version 8.1.3 to 8.1.5

Jobqueue and DBQueue are emptied
JobServices stopped
Consistency Check was done / no inconsistencies.

The SQLServer software is a SQL Server 19 (64-bit) => Database compatibility should be given

Having the checkbox advanced enabled, we see that every step is processed,
except one Operation called 'QBM-K-DBPrincipleCreate' (which contains only 2 accounts, but is constantly reset over and over again).

While this operation is reset , the QBM-K-CommonWaitForCompiler is processing 1 process at the time (also over and over again)
and the QBM-K-QBMSystemCompiled is counting up towards 1000, then throws the error message

when the counter is somewhere above 960

Is there anyone who had a similar problem and found a solution for that ?
Any hints are highly appreciated and very welcome

  • check the table qbmdbqueuecurrent to see why that dbqueue task is going into reset. Also the dialogjournal will also show why this dbqueue task is resetting. I would also suggest to look at the configuration wizard logs. This log will be under the local appdata for the currently logged on account to the host.
