database compilation stuck at "Wait for DBQueue processor"

when I try to compile the database from designer it stucks at "Wait for DBQueue processor" and never go forward with the compilation and when I examined the JobQueue

it has no Processes running and the DBQueue shows the same message "Wait for DBQueue processor"

any one know how to fix this ?

What version are you using? Is a Database Agent configured and running?

Version 9.1.1

for the database agent it is installed and configured but there is a strange behavior happening with it as a popup message pops up with message

"Database Agent Service is not Running!"

then it disappears like there are no error at all and then this scenario happens again.

Are you using Read-Scale Out or AlwaysOn or are we talking about a plain single SQL server?
