Reinstall SPS does not work

The steps as per the installation guide are referencing using IPMI to mount the iso image, do you have IPMI configured?

Hi, yes i tried to Mount the ISO via Webinterface. 

But without any logs and no special chars in username and password trying to connect through multiple firewalls, this is not realy usefull.

And after all, the ISO does not work on Hardware, i think there should be no improvement if its mounted virtually. 

If this SPS is a Supermico hardware and the virtual mount failed via IPMI web interface, another option that I have tried successfully before was using the IPMI tool called SMCIPMITool

Download the SMCIPMITool from here to a Windows machine: https://www.supermicro.com/en/support/resources/downloadcenter/smsdownload?category=IPMI

Navigate to the SMCIPMITool directory then run the following command to connect to IPMI Shell using IPMI IP and ADMIN username and password:

SMCIPMITool.exe {IP} {username} {password} shell

then run the command below to mount the image for example if the iso file is located in a shared folder named share:

vmwa dev2iso \share\scb-6.13_6.13.1.iso

Then modify the boot order from BIOS to boot from CDROM and follow installation steps as per installation guide earlier.

When completed, to stop the mount, run the command below:

vmwa dev2stop

Hi Tawfiq, These are excellent instructions. i have my SPS upgrade crashed and was able to mount media from IPMI successfully via virtual drive as usb but the issue was couldn't boot or run it from virtual drive. Will try this now.
