Hi All,
NIC support is 10G on the 4000 Appliance model, is 1G compatible with dual NIC?
Do I need duplex settings on the switch to be compatible?
NIC/LOM | Broadcom P210TP - 2 x 10G BASE-T Broadcom P210P - 2 x 10G SFP+ |
Kind Regards,
Jaeil.

Hi,
I checked the link below and it shows that the NIC does support both link speeds 10/1GbE
https://www.broadcom.com/products/ethernet-connectivity/network-adapters/p210tp
No, you don't need to set duplex settings on a switch to use 1 Gbps via 10GBASE-T, as 10GBASE-T only supports full-duplex communication, and 1 Gbps is also always full-duplex.
If you need further assistance with your deployment or setup, we recommend engaging Professional Services team by discussing with your account manager further.
Thanks!
