Hide Service Catalogs for Some Users

 I have too many logical groupings of requestable items. I think the usual way to hide some service catalogs from users is to use the Customer defined on the Shopping Center but this would result in me having way too many Shopping Centers. So, is there a way, using web designer, to hide some service catalogs from users so that they cannot request them?

    1. I'm no friend of hiding. Some day you'll search why this user cannot see that...
    2. If the user has sufficient permissions for requesting, there is no way changing those permissions in web designer.

    Of course you can hide a lot with <any wise condition>, keep in mind that you might need to adjust the global search and the product search. And I don't recommend doing that.
