One Identity Manager Report Editor : custom colors on the Treemap chart

The only way to use your custom colors in the TreeMap seems to be the definition of a custom style (using the Style Designer in the Report Editor) that contains your colors in the correct order for your arguments.

At least this is what I was able to achieve in a simple sample report.

I forgot to mention important details in our case :

actually we are showing 2 charts side to side, they are based on similar argument lists but have values from 2 different sources.

We ordered the data by values on both charts because we would like the display to show areas size-sorted. But as the values are different from on chart to the other, the order of the linked arguments is not the same.

And, as a the colors are also ordered according to the values, they are different from on chart to the other if compare them based on the arguments.

But that's what we would like. We would like the colors order independent from the values order and only based on the arguments. And it seems that custom styles might not help. 

Sorry if I'm not clear, it's a bit hard to explain. 

Would you eventually know if Treemap colors could be customized as for Pie Chart colors in next versions ?

Honestly, I do not know if the Treemap colors can be customized in a future version as we are relying on a 3rd party component for the reporting. I can try to inform the vendor about your problem and see if he agrees to accept this as RFE. But I cannot make any promises.

Good news. The 3rd party vendor has accepted the RFE and has implemented the conditions for the Treemap chart. Coming with the next version of OneIM we are going to integrate a version of the report component that supports this feature.

we now have version 8.1.4 of One Identity but still, I'm not able to customize the colors of the tree map chart based on the argument.

It's in that version that improvements are planned to implemented right ? 

Or maybe I'm not activating/deactivating the proper parameters to be able to use custom colors. Do you know if you have documentation related to that ?

Sorry, if I was unclear.

But coming with the next version does not mean next service pack. As this would require to update the 3rd party components to a newer version we would break HF compatibility.

But I can confirm, that coming with 8.2 the 3rd party components have been updated to support condition for the Treemap chart.
