Question about Starling connect Connector and Cloud One Identity

If i understood correctly, CHS is simply a SuccessFactors "template" for SCIM connector. i still need to connect SCIM connector to Starling Connect cloud services and then, from Starling connect I make the connection with the SuccessFactors. Correct?

There is no directly connection between SCIM connector and the SuccessFactor, skipping Starling Connect, at least not described in the documentation.

Another topic that is making me confused. The network requirements (IP addresses to while list) indicates a HUGE list from Microsoft in a JSON and XML file. I'm wondering if all that stuff is really necessary, because they are really too many! The connection is still OneIM => Starling Connect => SuccessFactors

But, you have a template mapping the data from SuccesFactors HR to where it should belong for HR data - to the Person table etc.

In regards to the outbound IP addresses, you may need to whitelist in your firewall that is (currently) used by Starling Connect for your connector running in the defined regions of Starling Connect. sorry, but it is not clear to me where the Outbound IP addresses list indicated in the document should be configured.

If this is the connection schema:
1.OneIM => 2.Internal firewall => 3.Starling Connect (cloud) => 4.SuccessFactors (cloud)

that list of IP addresses indicated must be inserted in the whitelist at point 2 (internal firewall), or as a list of allowed IP in system 4 (SuccessFactor instance)?
Reading the documentation I seem to understand that these are the addresses with which Starling Connector connects to the SuccessFactor system, so I guess the second option is correct, that is to insert them in point 4 as valid IPs from which to accept requests. Is it correct?

The outbound IP address(es) is (are) the one(s) the Starlin Connect connector is using (potentially) to talk to Success Factors (in your case).
