Alternative column names inly in German and English?

When I try this myself: select a specific language in Designer that is allowed in the front end, after closing and reopening Designer again I have the option to add that language for the particular column.  However, the translation still needs to be entered.

All of mentioned works just alternative column names on UNS target system are always restircted to english and german

Even with imported translation this look the same!

I also verified entires that are generated for this and tried to manualy generate XML tags but without luck. Looks like it is hardcoded to those two languages!

Is this a missing functionality?

We have created backlog entry VPR#35154 to track this item.

I would be really thatnkful if You can just explain what to enter manually in to AternatePropertyCaptions (I played with this but was not succesful for other that english and german)

My current knowledge is, that other languages than English or German do not work currently for that specific feature. That's why we took VPR#35154 for it.

The issue should be fixed in the meantime for the 8.1 and 8.2 product streams. If you really need this, you may ask support if they can provide a hotfix for your version or if you need to wait for the next service pack.
