A Letter to our Partners
I am writing to share some exciting news about One Identity, which can have a positive impact on your organization – and your customers – for years to come. Today, 4 Oct 2021, One Identity announced the acquisition of OneLogin, a market-leading provider of Identity Access Management (IAM) software.
Here are three significant high-lights:
1) Solving Identity Security in a Unified Manner
With the proliferation of human and machine identities, the race to the cloud, and the rise of remote working, protecting identity has never been more important. Our vision is to bring together a comprehensive portfolio to your customers address this challenge holistically. We believe there are four core elements to bring together: Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Identity Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Active Directory Management and Security (ADMS). One Identity already had trusted, proven PAM, IGA, and ADMS solutions; and with the addition of OneLogin, we can now deliver a complete stack.
Our vision is not to simply help your customers solve all their identity security problems with fragmented point solutions, but we believe there is significant value to integrating these technologies into a single, cloud-first platform – what we call our Unified Identity Security Platform. We were already hard at work incorporating our existing technologies into this platform, and efforts to combine OneLogin into the mix will commence shortly.
2) Providing Unparalleled Visibility, Control, and Protection
Moving from a fragmented to a unified approach to identity security will deliver obvious operational benefits – e.g., streamlining the correlation on all identities and all accounts, removing friction across formerly distinct technologies, simplifying automation and orchestration – all of which we will deliver. This model will also provide a critical level of added protection to your customers as well. With 360-degree visibility, the ability to verify everything before granting access, and adaptive security controls, organizations will be able to enhance and accelerate their protection. By modifying or stepping up authorization if suspicious login or behavior activity is detected, for example, security executives will be able to take another critical step to delivering Zero Trust and improving their overall cybersecurity posture.
3) Delivering Unmatched Market Leadership in the Industry
Gartner Research places One Identity and OneLogin in the Leaders’ quadrant in the latest Gartner® Magic QuadrantTM reports for PAM, IGA, and IAM. This means that your customers will no longer have to choose between a best-of-breed and a standardized approach for identity security – they can have it all from a single vendor, and from you.
We appreciate our partnership - and we trust that you will be as excited by this news as much as we are.
