Network Bandwidth requirement for SPP and SPS 6.11

Hi there,

Considering the following deployment scenario, I need some advice on the required network bandwidth of the VPN gateways for the SPP and SPS to function smoothly (<20 sec for every request) with RDP/SSH connections, video recordings, passwords rotations etc.

1. SPP and SPS deployed in an Azure Tenancy at the XYZ region

2. Source VPN gateway (Fortigate VPN Gateway) at Azure Tenancy sitting in front of the SPP and SPS virtual appliances in the XYZ region for the site to site VPN - 1 GBPS?

3. Destination VPN gateway (Azure VPN Gateway) at the receiving end is at another Azure Tenancy at the XYZ region - 1 GBPS?

4. From the Destination VPN Gateway, there is an ExpressRoute to a firewall at a data centre in the ABC country

5. Finally, resources (Windows and Linuxes, directories) are at the same data centre as the firewall in the ABC country

Any thoughts?

Bandwidth

It is recommended that connection, including overhead, is faster than 10 megabits per second inter-site bandwidth with a one-way latency of less than 500 milliseconds. If you are using traffic shaping, you must allow sufficient bandwidth and priority to port 655 UDP/TCP in the shaping profile. These numbers are offered as a guideline only in that other factors could require additional network tuning. These factors include but are not limited to: jitter, packet loss, response time, usage, and network saturation. If there are any further questions, please check with your Network Administration team.
