Dear Team,
is it possible to integrate PAM Safeguard with VMs such as VMware vSphere and Nutanix etc.
so any new VM will be added automatically not manually ( without PAM Admin interaction ).
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Are you asking if Safeguard can be installed in VMware? If so, yes that is possible, please see the following KB article for supported Hypervisors:
If you are asking if Safeguard can manage Assets that are hosted in VMware such as Windows or Linux etc, then Safeguard can manage the passwords on machines based on the supported platforms regardless if these are hardware or VMs.
Supported platforms are listed here:
Adding Assets automatically to Safeguard can be done via Asset Discovery, please refer to the Admin guide section here:
Thanks!
Hi Tawfiq.Ahmad
I tried Adding Assets automatically to Safeguard can be done via Asset Discovery, and I can retrieve servers from the domain, however my question is I want to integrate with Vcenter if there is any new VM so it will be added in PAM and later I will add to asset group and so on. is this supported or not?
Hi s chopdat ,
Asset Discovery in SPP currently supports discovering asset only from either a Directory or via Network Scan at this time. There is no option specific to discover based on VMware vCenter.
Thanks!

Hi Tawfiq.Ahmad
thanks for your inputs it's clear now, one more question can I exclude the already added assets ( added manually ) from discovered assets? to avoid duplication.
Hi s chopdat ,
One option is to delete the assets added manually and re-add the assets from Directory Discovery only to avoid duplication.
Another option would be to edit the manually added assets using Safeguard-PowerShell module as explained in the following KB:
To use Safeguard PowerShell, please refer to this KB:
Thanks!
